Membership Policies

City Fitness offers various memberships. Our membership levels, prices, dues, fees, amenities, benefits, programs, classes, and events amenities are subject to change or termination at any time. City Fitness retains complete control over all matters affecting or relating to its members or memberships, including but not limited to any documentation or information that may be required of members or guests such as proof of joint financial obligations, cohabitation, familial/guardianship status, age, or residency.

Youth Members. Given our commitment to our community and its fitness wellness, we welcome youth members with some restrictions. Minimum age of a youth member is 12 years old and must be accompanies by a guardian or be part of personal training. Between 12-18 years of age, the member can be added to a parent/legal guardian’s account at a reduced rate. At 18 years of age, the member can purchase their own adult membership. Certain additional fees may apply to changes to your membership.

Billing for Monthly Dues.  By signing a City Fitness Agreement, you give authorization to City Fitness to bill your bank account or credit card for the monthly membership fees.  Billing shall continue until such time as you cancel the agreement in accordance with the membership cancellation policy of City Fitness.

Credit Card On-file. We offer a complimentary service called Card On-file in which authorized adult and youth members on a membership may purchase products and services in its centers using a credit card account placed on file with City Fitness. Once an adult member designates a credit card account along with any adult and youth member(s) (from 12 to 18) authorized to use that account for purchases, the authorized members may purchase items in the facility by presenting their membership card or telephone number at the point of sale. Individual purchases are posted on the Card On-file account as they occur, separate from monthly membership dues. To start or stop Card On-file, or change your Card On-file account or authorized members, please visit the Front Desk of your facility.

Default or Late Payments. Should you default on any payment or obligation as called for in your agreement, the club will have the right to declare the entire remaining balance due and any allowable interest, and all costs of collection, including but not limited to collection agency fees, court costs, and attorney fees.  A default occurs when any payment due under your agreement is more the ten (10 days) late.  Should any monthly payment become more the ten (10 days) past due, a late fee will be accessed.  An additional service fee will be charged for any check, draft, credit card, or order returned for insufficient funds or any other reason.

City Fitness subcontracts its billing services to ABC financial services, inc. and certain fess or penalties may apply, but shall not be limited to, returned checks, uncollected funds and the inability to process transactions.  If paying monthly dues by electronic funds transfer (EFT), ABC Financial Services, Inc., reserves the right to draft via EFT all amounts owed by the member including any and all late fees and service fees.
